Are you Retired?

The following are several questions Retirees think about, when contemplating the decision to Retire, or when they are recently retired. In order to understand some of the obstacles facing those transitioning to Retirement, I pose the following questions, in order to elicit feedback and start a forum for those who may have answers to significant life-altering events:
- What truly makes my life meaningful?
- What have I always wanted to do, but haven’t so far?
- How do I manage my money in retirement?
- How do I manage my time and energy?
- Did you retire too early?
- What are your concerns, your stories and your resources?
- Have you made a successful transition to retirement? What where the keys to success? What were the obstacles?
- Are you still working after retirement? Did you find find it to be meaningful? Did you turn a hobby or a passion into a business?
- Is my Pension safe?
- How will I be able to afford Health Care Expenses?
- Can I count on Social Security Benefits to help me live a lifestyle I've become accustomed to? What are the alternatives?
- How much money will I need in Retirement? What steps have you taken to diagnose and repair the problem?
